Key Responsibilities
Assessment, stabilisation and management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
Participation in a 24/7 rotating roster including evenings, nights and weekends
Supervision and support of junior medical staff where appropriate
Performing emergency procedures and participating in resuscitation of critically ill patients
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to patient handovers
Requirements
MBBS or equivalent qualification
AHPRA General Registration (or eligibility)
Minimum 3–4 years postgraduate experience, including Emergency Department experience
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
Commitment to professional development
