6 Month FTC - Likely extensionJoin a growing Australian fintech in a senior, hands-on legal role with real influence across the business.Reporting into the Executive team, you'll be the go-to legal partner across the business, providing practical, commercial advice on a broad range of matters.Key responsibilitiesDraft, review and negotiate client, partner and supplier agreements, and maintain standard terms and templatesSupport sales and client teams through negotiations, renewals and tender responsesPrepare contract variations to reflect new features, regulatory change and client requirementsProvide practical advice on financial services regulation, AML/CTF, privacy, data protection and consumer lawHelp the business anticipate and respond to regulatory change,



and reflect it in agreements and processesProvide legal input on new products and initiatives from an early stageUse external counsel selectively for specialist or high-stakes mattersSupport Board and governance processes, including meeting papers, minutes, registers and ASIC lodgementsAbout youAdmitted Australian lawyer with a current practising certificate and solid post-admission experienceFinancial services legal background, either in-house or private practiceStrong commercial contracting and negotiation skillsA genuinely hands-on approach and comfort working at paceExperience in fintech, technology or a scaling business is highly regardedGovernance or company secretarial exposure is a plusWhy apply?
