Reporting to the General Manager Finance and Strategic Programs, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team, strengthen our financial controls and keep our reporting on track.What you will doLead the monthly, quarterly and year-end close and consolidation, including the Balance Sheet,



Income Statement and Cash FlowMeet statutory and regulatory reporting requirements and maintain compliance with Australian Accounting StandardsOversee tax obligations, including GST, FBT, income tax, PAYG and payroll taxMaintain strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity, including review of reconciliationsLead the year-end external audit and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors and regulatorsSupport budgeting and forecasting, and drive reporting automation and process improvementLead, coach and develop the financial control and consolidation teamAbout youTertiary accounting qualification and a CPA or CA qualificationDemonstrated experience managing a medium size teamDemonstrated experience managing an annual financial auditStatutory and tax accounting experience in a medium to large for-profit businessExcellent technical accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills, plus strong Microsoft Office skillsA positive, self-motivated, respectful and inclusive approach to leadershipExperience in FMCG, agribusiness or other food industries highly regardedWhy Montague Farms?
