Are you an experienced embedded firmware engineer who enjoys taking products to production?
We're partnering with a well-established Australian technology company that has built a strong reputation for designing and delivering creative connected products.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their Sydney-based engineering team.
This is a hands‐on role where you'll play a key part throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and architecture through development, testing, manufacturing, and ongoing product support.
You'll work on up-to-date embedded systems, IoT-connected devices, and next‐generation products that make a real impact.
What we're looking for:
8+ years' commercial experience developing embedded firmwareProven experience delivering embedded products from concept through to productionStrong embedded C/C++ programming skillsExperience developing low‐level drivers and embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI,



I2C)Experience rapidly developing prototypes and MVPs using ArduinoExperience working with 32‐bit microcontrollers including STM32, PIC32 or ESP32Experience with IoT connectivity technologies including Wi‐Fi, Bluetooth and cellular communications
Desirable skills:
Experience developing firmware within RTOS environments such as FreeRTOSExperience creating embedded graphical user interfaces using tools such as LVGL, MGS or TouchGFXExperience developing firmware for system‐level and PCBA production test systemsExposure to desktop or mobile software development (iOS, Android or Windows)
