Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their accounting practice in Fremantle, offering a salary of up to $120,000 plus Superannuation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Australian public practice experience who enjoys managing clients, handling complex taxation matters and supporting junior accountants.This is a permanent, full-time position offering a mix of taxation, financial reporting and business advisory work, with opportunities for career development.What you'll be doing:Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnershipsManaging complex taxation matters, including CGT, FBT, GST and Division 7APreparing BAS,



IAS and other statutory lodgementsProviding tax planning and business advisory adviceManaging client relationships and responding to taxation enquiriesReviewing work completed by junior accountantsLiaising with the ATO and ensuring compliance with tax regulationsWorking closely with the Director to meet deadlines and improve processesWhat you'll need:At least 4-5 years of Australian public practice experienceStrong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and complianceExperience preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returnsAbility to manage clients and review junior accountants' workBachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related fieldCA or CPA qualification, or working towards completion, highly desirableExperience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar accounting softwareStrong communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsWhat's in it for you:Salary of up to $120,000 plus SuperannuationPermanent, full-time position in FremantleOpportunity to manage your own client portfolioWork closely with experienced senior leadershipExposure to complex taxation and business advisory workProfessional development and career progression opportunities
