Project Engineer – Large Class 2 Residential Project Contract through to end of **** | View to Extend | ASAP Start
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a large Class 2 residential building project in Sydney.
This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer who has strong technical and delivery experience and wants to join an established project team to help drive the project through to completion.
The Opportunity
Contract role through to the end of ****, with a strong view to extend
ASAP start
Large-scale Class 2 residential project
Join an experienced project team during an key stage of delivery
Take ownership of key engineering and project delivery responsibilities
Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and broader construction team
Opportunity for the right person to continue beyond the initial contract
Key Responsibilities
Manage engineering and technical aspects of the project
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams
Review and manage drawings, specifications and technical documentation
Manage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination
Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination and package management
Monitor construction progress against programme and project requirements
Manage quality assurance, inspections and technical compliance




Assist with resolving construction and design issues
Work closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure successful project delivery
Maintain strong communication with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
About You
We are looking for a Project Engineer with strong experience on large-scale residential or Class 2 projects.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience working on large residential / Class 2 projects
Strong technical and construction knowledge
Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors and design teams
Strong understanding of construction methodology, drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of your responsibilities
Strong commercial and problem-solving skills
Relevant Australian construction experience
