It forms part of a multi-billion dollar Defence program that supports Australia's naval shipbuilding capability, delivered under strict quality, safety and compliance standards.About the OpportunityAs Project Engineer, you will plan, coordinate and deliver construction works on the ANI project, reporting to the Project Manager.
You will work with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and the client to turn drawings into efficient construction methods.
You will prepare quality records, track progress, costs and risks, and support procurement and commercial teams on scopes and variations.




You will use digital models to plan logistics and resolve clashes before work starts.
You will own your work packages and work to strict Defence quality, safety and compliance standards.Key accountabilities for the position will be:Plan, coordinate and deliver construction works to program, quality and safetyInterpret drawings and specifications and develop efficient construction methodsRun risk assessments and toolbox talks to drive Zero Harm on siteMonitor progress, costs and risks, and implement corrective actionsPrepare and review quality documentation and close-out recordsSupport procurement and commercial teams with scopes, evaluations and variationsUse digital models to plan logistics and resolve clashes earlyWhat capability and experience will you need to have:Australian citizen eligible for Baseline Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in an engineering-related fieldProven experience delivering construction works on siteKnowledge of construction methods, temporary works and logisticsAbility to mentor graduates and site engineersAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work setting where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
