Senior Project Manager - Pre-Construction - up to $270KAn established national construction company is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to work as a Pre-Construction Manager in its Adelaide office.
Working across major commercial and industrial projects, this senior role will take the lead across bid management, pre-construction strategy, including programming and methodology and the transition of projects from tender through to delivery.Key responsibilitiesLead pre-construction and bid strategies for recent projectsManage tenders from initial review through submission, negotiation and awardDevelop construction methodologies, programs and procurement strategiesIdentify value management, buildability and commercial opportunitiesReview designs, tender documentation and Head Contract requirementsManage project risks, opportunities,



qualifications and clarificationsCoordinate Estimating, Design, Services and Construction teamsAttend client meetings, tender presentations and negotiationsManage tender handovers and transition projects into constructionBuild relationships with clients, developers and consultantsAbout youStrong experience with a commercial or industrial head contractor and detailed understanding of the pre-construction processExperience across D&C;, ECI, Hard Dollar and/or GMP projectsStrong knowledge of design management, programming, procurement and commercial constructionCommercially astute and confident dealing with clientsCapable of leading complex bids and pre-construction activities
