Our team manages and executes large‐scale capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety and leave a lasting positive legacy in the communities we engage with.What you'll do:We're looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Sustaining Capital team in Perth, supporting a portfolio of Tier 1 mining clients across Western Australia.Deliver structural engineering and design across brownfield mining and minerals processing projectsDesign and check structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and foundationsWork across conveyors, transfer stations, crushing and screening structures, chutes, pipe racks, platforms and equipment support structuresAssess existing structures and develop modification,



remediation and strengthening solutionsProvide engineering support through design, fabrication and construction and review structural models, drawings and vendor informationRespond to technical queries and work closely with designers, engineers, contractors and client teamsCheck and review the work of other engineers and provide technical guidance where requiredAbout you:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringSignificant experience as a Structural Engineer within mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial projectsStrong background working within an EPCM or engineering consultancy environmentStrong structural steel and reinforced concrete design capabilityExperience with materials handling infrastructure, particularly conveyors and associated structuresSound knowledge of Australian structural design standardsAbility to work independently, undertake checking and solve complex structural problemsStrong communication skills and confidence engaging with multidisciplinary and client teamsWhy WSP?
