Your recent companyA major contractor delivering a project in Alkimos is looking for a cost controller to join its site team.
This is a 6 month assignment with an immediate start.
You will be part of the project team from your first week, working alongside the commercial and project staff on site.Your new roleYou will control and report on project costs on the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant, part of a $2.8 billion water program for WA, working onsite 40 hours a week.
Day to day,



this includes:Preparing monthly cost reports and forecastsTracking budgets against actual costs and reporting variancesProcessing and reviewing subcontractor claims and paymentsAssessing and recording variationsPreparing cost to complete and commercial reporting for the project teamEntering and reconciling data in the project's bespoke accounting systemsAbout youThe client will consider both senior and mid-level cost controllers, depending on experience.
We are seeking a candidate with:5+ years of cost control experience on civil or construction projectsExperience with bespoke cost and accounting systems, which is well regardedConfidence working independently and reporting accurately to a project teamAvailability to start ASAP and work onsite in AlkimosWhat's on offer6 month casual contractRate: To be discussed with youOnsite, 40 hours a weekImmediate start
