The business has recently invested in a brand-new, purpose-built blow moulding facility in Pemulwuy, NSW, positioning it among the most advanced sites globally.About the RoleWe are seeking an 2 experienced Shift Supervisors to lead production operations across a high-volume blow moulding manufacturing facility.
Afternoon shift: 3pm - 11pm.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all production activities and personnel on shift, ensuring equipment performance, product quality, safety compliance, and achievement of daily production targets.This role is ideally suited to a hands-on manufacturing leader with strong technical capabilities in plastics processing, blow moulding, injection moulding, or a similar automated production environment.
You will combine people leadership with technical troubleshooting expertise, ensuring production equipment operates at optimal efficiency while supporting and developing your team.DutiesLead and support the production team on shiftAllocate daily tasks and labour resourcesEnsure machines operate safely and efficientlyMonitor cycle times, downtime, and production performanceManage machine start-ups, stoppages,



and process adjustmentsEnsure product quality meets specificationsTroubleshoot equipment faults and coordinate maintenance supportRecord production issues, downtime, and shift activitiesManage non-conformances and corrective actionsMonitor waste, scrap, and operational efficienciesComplete shift handovers and production reportsManage rosters and overtime requirementsMaintain compliance with WHS, Food Safety, and Quality standardsProvide training, coaching, and technical support to team membersMaintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiativeSkills / ExperienceBackground in plastics processing, blow moulding, injection moulding.Strong leadership and people management skillsExperience working in rapid-paced, high-volume manufacturing environmentsStrong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving abilityFamiliarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated production linesExperience within food-grade, FMCG, or other regulated manufacturing environmentsSound understanding of WHS, Quality, and Food Safety requirementsAbility to manage competing priorities and drive production outcomesPositive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skillsCulture & BenefitsKey technical role in a newly built, purpose-designed facilityOngoing training in a technically focused, high-performing teamCollaborative, safety-first cultureLong-term career pathway within a global packaging manufacturer
