The position offers significant exposure to executive decision-making, Board reporting, business planning, and commercial projects while leading the day-to-day finance function.About the RoleReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of the Club's financial management processes.Key responsibilities include:Assisting the CFO with financial strategy, planning, and business performance analysisPreparing monthly management accounts and executive reporting packsCoordinating annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projectionsManaging the day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliationsEnsuring compliance with all statutory, taxation, and regulatory requirementsSupporting external audit processes and stakeholder reportingMonitoring internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworksProviding financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-makingAssisting with capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and project evaluationsLeading and developing finance team members and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementSupporting technology and process improvements within the finance functionAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce,



or a related disciplineCPA or CA qualificationMinimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or finance management roleStrong commercial acumen and analytical skillsDemonstrated experience preparing management, executive, and Board-level reportsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracyAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems experienceStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive and collaborative leadership stylePrevious experience within the Registered Club, Hospitality, Gaming, Hotel, Leisure, or Community sectorsKnowledge of NSW Registered Clubs governance and compliance requirementsExperience managing multi-site operations and diverse revenue streamsExposure to gaming, food and beverage, membership, events, and property-related operationsWhy Join Us?
