The final plant configuration will be comprised of two separate crushing and grinding trains, enabling optimised recovery of ore from multiple ore sources.RoleReporting to the Processing Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent (Mechanical) leads the secure and efficient maintenance of the Mt Magnet processing plant through a significant period of growth.
Working collaboratively with the Maintenance Superintendent (Electrical), you will drive asset reliability, plant performance and continuous improvement while leading a team of Mechanical Fitters, Electricians and Boilermakers.Your key responsibilities will includeEnsure safe and efficient execution of planned and breakdown maintenanceLead and develop maintenance supervisors, planners and trades teamsDrive plant reliability, availability and asset performanceLead shutdown planning and execution to minimise downtimeDeliver major maintenance and plant improvement projectsManage maintenance budgets, forecasts and costsChampion continuous improvement and risk reduction initiativesMaintain effective planning, scheduling and work management processesDevelop team capability through coaching and mentoringBuild strong relationships across site departmentsEnsure compliance with safety,



regulatory and company standardsProvide reporting and insights to support operational decisionsAbout YouYou are an experienced maintenance leader with a strong background in fixed plant maintenance within gold processing or similar mineral processing operations.
