About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable / Receivable Team Leader to join a well-established organisation based in the Albury/Wodonga region.
Leading a small finance team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable and receivable function while identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and enhance service delivery across the business.
This role offers a combination of leadership responsibilities and hands‐on involvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys developing people while remaining close to the operational finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support a small AP/AR team
Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes
Monitor workloads and ensure deadlines are achieved
Manage reconciliations, payment runs and debtor management activities
Resolve escalated supplier and customer enquiries
Partner with internal stakeholders across the business




Support month-end activities and reporting requirements
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Team Lead, Supervisor or Senior AP position highly desirable
Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable knowledge
Demonstrated people leadership capability
Experience using accounting or ERP systems
Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Process improvement mindset with strong attention to detail
