Position Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Auditor to join the team on a 2–3 month fixed-term contract.
You'll work alongside 2–3 existing auditors on external audit engagements for two large proprietary companies operating in civil contracting and private home building.
Typical responsibilities
Performing external audit fieldwork for large proprietary companies
Testing financial statement balances and key transactions
Reviewing supporting documentation and audit evidence
Preparing audit workpapers and documenting findings
Identifying and communicating audit issues to senior team members




Working collaboratively with existing auditors to meet engagement deadlines
Completing assigned audit work with minimal supervision
Requirements
4–6 years of external audit experience, ideally within public practice
Experience auditing private companies and preparing audit workpapers
Strong understanding of Australian Auditing Standards
Ability to manage assigned audit work independently
Solid attention to detail and communication skills
CA or CPA qualifications advantageous but not essential
Overseas-trained auditors and Working Holiday Visa holders welcome
Availability to commit to a 2–3 month contract
