Our Town Fencing is one of Australia's leading fencing suppliers, delivering quality products and exceptional customer service for over 20 years.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team in Heatherbrae.
This is a newly created role focused on winning new business, growing our customer base and driving sales across NSW and beyond.
If you enjoy getting out on the road, finding opportunities, building relationships and turning prospects into customers, this could be the role for you.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, highly autonomous sales role where your key focus will be bringing new customers into the business. You'll spend your time identifying prospective customers, getting out into the market, conducting customer visits, developing opportunities and converting those opportunities into sales.
You'll be responsible for managing your own sales pipeline and working towards clear monthly sales and new-customer targets.
Regular travel throughout NSW will be required, with some travel into Queensland.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively identify and win current trade and commercial customers
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets
Secure a minimum of 3 new customers per month
Identify bulk sales and trade sales opportunities
Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits and site visits
Prepare quotes and actively follow up opportunities to close sales
Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop a strong understanding of our fencing products and market
Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities
Work closely with our internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes
Maintain accurate records of sales activity,



opportunities and customer interactions
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is motivated by winning new business and achieving results.
You'll ideally have:
Demonstrated success in prospecting and winning new customers
A strong track record of achieving sales targets
Confidence approaching prospective customers and developing new relationships
Solid communication, negotiation and closing skills
Excellent time management and the ability to effectively plan travel
The ability to work independently and take ownership of your territory
A reults-driven and proactive approach
Willingness to travel throughout NSW and into Queensland when required
A current Driver's Licence
Experience within building supplies, construction, manufacturing, fencing, steel, trade sales or a related industry will be highly regarded.
