What you'll do:
Prepare, cook, and serve fresh, high-quality meals within a busy kitchen setting
Take pride in the presentation, quality and consistency of every meal you prepare
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards in line with EHO requirements
Work as part of a friendly and qualified catering team to deliver an efficient service
Prepare meals for military personnel, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable dining experience
Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
Support events and special functions, giving you the opportunity to showcase your cooking skills
Take responsibility for bulk cooking while maintaining high standards across all dishes
What you bring:




Previous experience as a Cook or Chef within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment
Culinary experience and a genuine passion for preparing good-quality food
Relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds ***** & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Skilled Cookery are desirable
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards (IOSH qualification desirable)
The ability to work efficiently as part of a busy kitchen team while maintaining high standards
A positive attitude, good attention to detail and pride in your work
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
