The roles Metal Fabricator Welder (First Class) / Welder Employment Responsibilities Maintain accurate records relevant to the role Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work to specification Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision Interpret plans and work orders and complete job documentation Skills, experience and qualifications Certificate III including at least one year of relevant experience, or Certificate IV.
At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
Relevant experience may also be required.
Metal Machinist (First Class) Employment Responsibilities Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes Follow all workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements Skills, experience and qualifications Certificate III including at least one year of relevant experience,



or Certificate IV.
At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
Relevant experience may also be required.
Civil Engineering Draftsperson Employment Responsibilities Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems, roads, airports, dams, bridges and other structures Estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions Performing and directing fieldwork and laboratory testing Contribute to a positive, safe and productive workplace Communicate effectively with team members and management Skills, experience and qualifications Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.
At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
Relevant experience may also be required.
Licences: Registration or licensing may be required for this occupation.
Trade Assistant (Labourer) Employment Responsibilities Minimum 2 years' experience in a Trade Assistant or similar workshop role Structural steel/fabrication experience highly regarded Experience with overhead cranes, hand and power tools Beamline and plate processing experience highly regarded Loading and unloading machines, assembling components, and grading, inspecting and packing products Good communication skills and a strong can-do attitude Skills, experience and qualifications: Certificate II or III, or at least one year of relevant experience.
