We are looking for a passionate, experienced Full time Chef specializing in Indian and South Indian cuisine to lead our kitchen team and elevate our menu.
Key Responsibilities Culinary Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present authentic North and South Indian dishes (including dosas, idlis, curries, biryanis, and traditional snacks) following established recipes and quality standards.
Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen prep, service operations, stock levels, and food ordering to ensure smooth service.
Menu Execution Specials: Assist in refining current recipes, maintaining consistent portion control, and developing authentic daily/seasonal specials.
Food Safety Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to Australian food safety standards, HACCP principles, kitchen hygiene, and workplace health safety regulations.
Speed Consistency: Maintain high efficiency and quality output during peak dining hours.
Requirements Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an Indian Chef,



with strong expertise in South Indian cuisine (traditional batters, chutneys, tiffin items, and regional curries).
Qualifications: Certificate III / IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) preferred, or substantial industry experience.
Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of authentic Indian spices, flavor profiling, traditional cooking techniques, and dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.
Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a team-oriented mindset.
