About the Role R K Taxation Experts is seeking an Accountant (General) to provide professional accounting, taxation and financial reporting services to its clients.
The successful candidate will prepare and analyse financial information, support taxation and statutory compliance, and provide accounting advice to assist clients in managing their financial and reporting obligations.
Location: Corio VIC **** Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports and other financial information for clients Examine income, expenditure and financial transactions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and reporting Prepare and review taxation returns, BAS, GST and other statutory reporting requirements Provide accounting and taxation advice to clients regarding their financial and business affairs Analyse financial performance, cash flow and financial position and provide relevant recommendations Prepare budgets,



forecasts and financial analyses to support client planning and decision-making Review accounting and financial reporting processes and recommend improvements to internal controls and reporting procedures Interpret taxation legislation, accounting requirements and regulatory obligations relevant to client circumstances Identify financial discrepancies, compliance issues and reporting risks and recommend appropriate corrective action Liaise with clients, taxation authorities and other skilled stakeholders regarding accounting, taxation and compliance matters Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a closely related discipline Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting or a comparable professional accounting role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial reporting requirements Experience preparing financial statements, taxation returns and statutory reports Ability to analyse financial information and provide appropriate accounting recommendations Understanding of BAS, GST and Australian taxation compliance requirements Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and professional communication skills Only candidates currently residing in Australia will be shortlisted How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
