This hands-on role combines kitchen and cleaning responsibilities, perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, supports quality meal service, and contributes to a safe, welcoming environment for our residents.

Role: Cook Kitchen Assistant (Casual – Parkside) To be successful in this role: Have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a good understanding of hygiene and safety procedures Prepare and serve meals that meet residents' preferences and dietary requirements Assist with menu planning and ensure meals are nutritious and appealing Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and dining area Carry out general cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising high-touch areas Follow infection control practices and safety procedures at all times Manage your time effectively to complete tasks promptly and efficiently Be reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Demonstrate empathy and respect when supporting residents and colleagues Be adaptable to changing needs and able to handle busy periods calmly Essentials: National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years) Up-to-date Influenza vaccination Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Desirable: Previous experience in aged care or a fast-paced environment Benefits: Family-friendly and supportive team culture Opportunity to work for a well-established, values-driven aged care provider Ongoing training and development in food safety and hygiene Local business discounts Flexible working hours Apply Now: If you are excited about this opportunity, we would love to hear from you!
