About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Category Manager to join our Finance Commercial team and drive value across one of Federal Hospitality's most diverse supplier portfolios.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll take ownership of the General Goods Services category, managing supplier contracts that support operations across Federal Hospitality.
Working closely with operational leaders and suppliers, you'll develop and execute category strategies that improve commercial outcomes, supplier performance and long-term value.
The portfolio spans a broad range of categories, from operational services and utilities through to consumables, housekeeping supplies and other essential goods and services that keep our venues operating efficiently.
This is a strategic category management role rather than a transactional purchasing position.
While day-to-day ordering sits within operational teams, you'll focus on sourcing, supplier performance, contract management and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing You'll manage the end-to-end category lifecycle across a broad portfolio of General Goods Services suppliers, including sourcing, market analysis, supplier assessments, contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
Working closely with stakeholders,



you'll identify opportunities to improve value, reduce costs and mitigate risk while supporting positive commercial outcomes.
You'll also lead end-to-end tender processes through TenderLink, including developing tender documentation, managing supplier responses, evaluating submissions and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
Once contracts are implemented, you'll work with suppliers and operational teams to ensure agreements continue to deliver value and performance outcomes.
What You'll Bring You'll bring experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management or a related commercial discipline, along with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
You'll be confident building relationships, influencing stakeholders and translating business needs into effective sourcing and supplier strategies.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, commercially curious and motivated by continuous improvement.
