Ongoing temporary contract, with chance for permanency Brisbane CBD Inner Suburbs, QLD Accounts Payable Officer Lawson Elliott is excited to be partnering with a growing industrial business based in the Brisbane CBD, who are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.
This position will also have the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate.
This business is currently going through an exciting period of growth, so this will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, has the ability to think outside the box and has a willingness to learn.
This role will encompass a wide variety of responsibilities, which will give you the perfect opportunity to grow and develop your skillset.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: Process supplier invoices and purchase orders for their weekly payment runs Provide assistance with the enhancement, testing and validation of their ERP system Resolve invoice,



payment and accounts payable queries Assist with managing the AP inbox and respond to supplier enquiries Prepare accurate month-end reports as well as other documentation within the required deadlines Liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc accounts duties as required To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have Experience processing a high volume of invoices and payments Great communication skills and the confidence to work with external suppliers Sound knowledge of Tier 1 accounting softwares desired Proactive and "outside the box" thinking High problem-solving skills and solution-focussed mindset If you are looking for a current challenge in a business that is going to see a lot of growth over the next 12 months, please reach out to me for a confidential chat.
