To see first-hand what our colleagues think about working here, take a look at the following short videos monashhealth.org/careers.
Great recruitment doesn't just fill a vacancy.
It gives our leaders confidence that they have the right people to deliver exceptional care.
Join a passionate and highly collaborative recruitment team supporting Nursing leaders and operational teams across Monash Health.
This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to be more than a process facilitator.
You'll become a trusted recruitment partner — understanding workforce needs, providing practical and contemporary recruitment advice, and helping make great hiring decisions.
Our team takes enormous pride in the service we provide.
We have built strong relationships through being responsive, knowledgeable, consistent and solutions focused, and we're looking for someone who shares that commitment.
About the Role As a Recruitment Specialist supporting Nursing, you'll manage a dedicated portfolio and work closely with Nurse Managers, senior nursing leaders and operational teams to understand their recruitment priorities and provide an end-to-end recruitment service.
But this role is about much more than moving a requisition through a system.
You'll use your recruitment expertise to guide, influence and support our people, helping them navigate recruitment confidently while ensuring our processes remain fair, consistent, efficient and aligned with best practice.
You will:

Partner with stakeholders across your portfolio to attract and engage the best available talent Support managers to effectively navigate complex or challenging recruitment situations Champion a positive candidate and hiring manager experience Build strong talent pipelines and identify opportunities to improve attraction Work collaboratively across the recruitment team, sharing workload, knowledge and solutions Contribute ideas that continually improve recruitment practice and further enhance the Monash Health brand You'll have autonomy and ownership of your portfolio, but you'll never be working in isolation.
This a full time role and for your first six months you'll work almost exclusively at a Monash Health site, developing relationships across the team and stakeholder groups and maximising your opportunity to learn "the way we do things around here".
When you've demonstrated effective, independent management of your portfolio, we'll discuss flexibility in work locations for part of your work week.
About You You're an experienced recruiter who understands that the best way to build effective partnerships is in person.
You don't sit back and wait for a manager to tell you what they need — you ask questions, understand the problem they're trying to solve and use your expertise to help determine the best way forward.
Demonstrating resilience and composure in a dynamic work setting, you bring: Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, including facilitating interviews and group assessments Credibility and confidence partnering with managers and senior stakeholders Excellent judgement and the confidence to provide considered advice A responsive, customer-focused approach that never compromises quality or process A genuine commitment to recruitment best practice Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Initiative, curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset A collaborative approach and genuine willingness to support your teammates Experience within healthcare, nursing or high-volume recruitment is highly regarded, but equally important is your ability to embed yourself in the business,

build trusted partnerships and deliver recruitment services you're proud to put your name to.
A team that stands behind its work - our reputation matters to us Our approach is grounded in equity, transparency, continuous improvement and creating a positive candidate and employee experience, every time.
You'll work alongside experienced recruitment professionals, passionate about their portfolios and equally passionate contributing to the team's ongoing success.
We're proud of the reputation we've built and we care about doing things properly.
Why Join Us?
We're Full Hearted, Open Minded and All In — values that are reflected not only in who we recruit, but in how we work together.
Bring your recruitment expertise.
