Job Description The Assistant Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include: Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Supporting payroll processing and banking activities Preparing general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes Preparing journals, financial reports,



and supporting documentation Supporting statutory reporting and compliance requirements Investigating and resolving financial discrepancies and payment issues Assisting with audit preparation and continuous process improvements Maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support finance operations The Successful Applicant To be successful in this role, you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline Minimum 1 year of experience within an accounting or finance role Hands-on experience across payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger functions Strong knowledge of month-end accounting processes Proficiency in MYOB and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team Mandarin language skills will be advantageous What's on Offer Full-time fixed-term contract Versatile hybrid working arrangements with up to 3 days working from home Supportive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture Exposure to a broad range of accounting and finance responsibilities If this Assistant Accountant role sounds like the right fit for you, we encourage you to apply.
