JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: COOK (3) Passion and commitment are the driving forces behind our new Indian restaurant specialising in hosting private functions, catering services, weddings, and corporate events.
We now have 3 Cook position available in our main kitchen.
Job Type: Permanent and full time basis Report To: Director/ Owner Duties and Responsibilities: Excellent knowledge of food hygiene procedures and Excellent communication and organisation skills Prepare a range of high-quality meals for our customers Help design new menu items Help estimate stock requirements Streamline processes between our wait staff and kitchen staff Clean food preparation areas and maintain hygiene standards Set up staff workstations with the necessary ingredients and cooking equipment Prepare cooking ingredients (measure ingredients, chop and peel vegetables and cut meat)



Prepare food using our approved recipes Maintain customer expectations and accommodate guests with allergies Monitor ingredient quality for freshness Monitor stock levels and place orders Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure they serve hot food Operate kitchen appliances and cooking apparatus Portion and present food according to our expectations.
Supervise kitchen hands.
Mandatory Qualification Required: - Possession of Bachelors degree from any discipline -Certificate IV in commercial cookery or relevant qualification related to Commercial Cookery Relevant Experience Required: - Minimum 1 Years' experience Skills Required: Team management skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong time management skills Proficiency in all aspects of food safety Positive communication skills, energy and attitude Work Location: In person Pay: AU$79,****** – AU$81,****** per year Application Question: Are you an Australian Citizen / Permanent residence
