Irrigation Fitter (Commercial) Northern Suburbs $42 per hour plus penalties Mon-Fri 6am-3pm RDO every fortnight Duties: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of irrigation systems.
Conduct inspections and testing on commercial irrigation systems.
Program irrigation controllers to meet operational requirements.
Modify current irrigation systems/install new irrigation systems.
Operate small plant/equipment.
Maintain tools, equipment and plant.
Liaise/work with supervisors and other service units.
Provide work reports.
Report immediately to supervisor any field conditions that could pose a risk to public or sporting user groups.
Essential: Experience in commercial irrigation systems operation and maintenance.
Proven communication skills.
Experience in the productive use of information systems and technology.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.




Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of physical manual labour.
C class vehicle licence.
Safety awareness certification.
National Police Clearance less than three months old.
A positive, proactive approach to change and a willingness to work in any service unit should it be operationally required.
Desirable: First Aid certification.
Knowledge of bore, pump and motor systems.
Special Requirements: May be required to work in high traffic/congested areas.
