Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist for a Mental Health Clinician role at Woodford Correctional Centre, located just outside of the Glass House Mountains in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
The Role: You'll be part of the mental health services team and provide a range of clinical support to adults in our care including: Conducting independent risk assessments of harm to self or others, including acute or chronic risk Providing psychoeducation related to mental health conditions, symptoms and treatment options to individuals Delivering individual or group-based skill acquisition focused interventions aimed at developing coping skills and building resilience Mandatory Requirements:



Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Behavioural Science and hold or be eligible for either general or provisional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA OR; Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA, OR; Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership with AASW C Class Driver's Licence.
