Due to the business growing, we are now looking for a professional and reliable Civil Engineering Drafter to join our team.
Annual Salary: $89,960 plus superannuation contributions Duties and Responsibilities of Civil Engineering Drafter ᆞDevelop and produce high-quality civil engineering drawings, plans, and technical layouts using CAD software, ensuring all outputs meet applicable standards, codes, and project specifications.
ᆞInterpret engineering designs and project requirements, working closely with engineers to translate concepts into accurate and practical drafting solutions.
ᆞCarry out calculations and basic analysis to support design and drafting activities.
ᆞPrepare quantity take-offs, estimate material requirements,



and assist in compiling project cost estimates and documentation.
ᆞParticipate in site inspections to collect relevant data, including site conditions, materials, and measurements, and assist with related testing where required.
ᆞReview and update drawings as needed, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain project timelines.
The Applicant Must Meet the Following Qualification, Experience and Skills Requirements Qualifications and Experience ᆞAt least a Bachelor ᆞ At least five years relevant working experience Essential Skills ᆞDemonstrated experience using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
ᆞStrong technical and computer skills with the ability to produce precise and detailed work.
ᆞSound knowledge of civil engineering practices, standards, and documentation requirements.
ᆞEffective communication skills, both written and verbal.
ᆞAbility to work autonomously while also contributing positively within a team environment.
ᆞExcellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
ᆞProven problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to tasks.
ᆞPrevious exposure to construction projects will be highly advantageous.
