Machine Operator - Bluescope Lysaght Work Type: Casual on-going, Monday-Thursday from 7am-3:30pm, Friday from 7am-1pm Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor steel processing machines Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues Conduct product quality checks and follow safety protocols Work collaboratively with the production team Maintain a clean and safe workspace Operate a forklift (valid ticket required) What We're Looking For: Previous machine operation experience (steel industry highly regarded) Understanding of machine maintenance and fault finding High attention to detail and safety-conscious approach Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment Current forklift licence (essential) Own vehicle to commute to work Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screen Who we are As one of Australia's largest employers,
