Recruitment 247 is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Manager to join our client's growing team in Ipswich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of event management, staff leadership, client engagement, and hands-on promotional work.
No two days are the same.
One day you could be coordinating a major promotional event, the next you might be training demonstrators, managing event staff, meeting with clients, or overseeing a product activation.
What You'll Be Doing Planning, coordinating, and delivering successful promotional events and product demonstrations.
Recruiting, training, mentoring, and leading a team of event and promotional staff.
Creating rosters, schedules, and staffing plans to ensure events run smoothly.
Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their events exceed expectations.
Supporting and supervising promotional campaigns, brand activations, and demonstrations.
Tracking event performance and preparing post-event reports.
Ensuring events meet all safety and workplace requirements.
Visiting event sites and providing hands-on support when needed.
Solving problems on the fly and ensuring every event is a success.
Assisting with business growth opportunities and identifying new client possibilities.
What We're Looking For Previous experience in event management, promotions, hospitality, marketing, demonstrations,



brand activations, or a similar leadership role.
Proven experience conducting or managing product demonstrations, promotional campaigns, or customer engagement activities.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Experience with rostering, scheduling, and workforce coordination.
Competent with Microsoft Office programs.
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends when events require.
Bonus Points If You Have Qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or Hospitality.
First Aid Certificate.
Experience in promotional marketing, experiential marketing, retail demonstrations, trade shows, or event activations.
A creative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
