About the Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values.
Your contribution will include: Clinical Practice: Provide professional leadership in the promotion and maintenance of ethical standards and evidenced based best practice of speech pathology services in the specialist area of mental health consistent with the ethical and practice standards of Speech Pathology Australia, the National Mental Health Practice Standards, Queensland CYMHS Speech Pathology Scope of Practice and Recovery Frameworks.
Communication / Team Participation Provide high level integrated speech pathology advice and reports and work collaboratively with team members to provide multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention for service consumers Leadership / Work Unit Management Develop,



lead and manage quality activities and/or research in speech pathology practice to continually improve care for consumers or to contribute to the evidence base for speech pathology practice within the mental health context.
Provide practise supervision, training and support to staff and students of CYMHS service staff and as delegated by the CYMHS Speech Pathology Clinical Consultant.
