Maintenance Fitter – Afternoon Shift – FMCG Manufacturing Rate: $***** per hour – Inclusive of 15% shift loading Shift: Monday–Friday, Afternoon Shift Hours: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Overtime: HEAPS OF OVERTIME AVAILABLE Candidate: Food/FMCG Experience needed as a maintenance fitter Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a stable role with a leading FMCG manufacturer, excellent earning potential and a strong maintenance team?
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing site on afternoon shift.
The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading FMCG business with a long-standing maintenance team, modern production equipment and a strong focus on preventative maintenance and reliability.
You'll be joining a team where your technical skills are valued, with plenty of prospect to get involved in both breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance across a busy manufacturing environment.
About the Role Your responsibilities will include: Performing preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding Mechanical repairs,



servicing and equipment adjustments Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Completing preventative maintenance schedules Working closely with production and the wider maintenance team Ensuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently Maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping About You We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter with: Mechanical trade qualification Previous maintenance experience within FMCG, food, beverage or manufacturing Strong mechanical fault-finding ability Experience working with automated production machinery A proactive approach to preventative maintenance Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine interest in building a long-term career within manufacturing What's On Offer?
