Assistant Director | Health Policy Lead the implementation of significant health policy initiatives in an Australian Government environment, translating policy priorities into practical, evidence-based outcomes for veterans and families.
Location: Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney or Brisbane Contract Duration: 19 October **** to 30 June ****, with a possible 12-month extension Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline Closing Date: *****am, 9 October **** Essential Tasks Lead implementation and delivery of significant new Government policy initiatives.
Plan and coordinate complex policy reform projects within governance requirements.
Provide strategic advice on implementation risks, opportunities and reform priorities.
Lead stakeholder engagement, consultation and negotiations across government and external partners.
Key Criteria Sound understanding of Commonwealth Government policy development and implementation.
Experience delivering policy initiatives,



programs or reforms in complex environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and strategic policy advisory capability.
Commonwealth health policy and/or program experience is desirable.
