Job Description As Senior Contracts Specialist, you will play a key role in the procurement and award of major contract packages supporting a significant capital project.
Key responsibilities will include: Managing complex contract packages from procurement strategy and market engagement through to contract award Developing and executing tendering and contracting strategies for major project packages Preparing and managing the Pre-Contracts processes, including tender documentation and commercial requirements Leading the commercial evaluation of tender submissions, identifying key commercial risks and opportunities Leading negotiations with contractors and suppliers to achieve solid commercial outcomes Developing appropriate commercial terms, contract structures and risk allocation for each package Working closely with engineering, project and construction teams to ensure contracting strategies align with project requirements Managing the clarification, negotiation, recommendation and award of contracts Procuring packages across disciplines including Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP), Electrical and Instrumentation (E
