We are seeking an experienced
Senior Data Engineer
to join a growing data and analytics team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, operational reporting, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support enterprise reporting and analytics requirements.
Build and optimise Microsoft Fabric data solutions, including data pipelines, orchestration workflows, and Lakehouse architectures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust, data-driven solutions.
Support production data platforms through monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain integrated datasets by leveraging API integrations, cloud services, and modern data engineering best practices.
Skills & Experience
Robust expertise in SQL, including data modelling, query optimisation, ETL/ELT development, and relational database design.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric,



cloud data platforms, data migration projects, and data orchestration frameworks.
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages for automation and platform management.
Desirable Experience
Dimensional modelling, data warehousing, star schema design, and trusted dataset development.
Production support, platform maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting within enterprise data environments.
Experience developing real-time or near real-time data solutions.
Knowledge of cloud-first architectures and data platform modernisation strategies.
Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering capabilities.
