Responsibilities:Pre-service kitchen preparation (preparation of all ingredients and menu items)Cooking of all menu items to orderMaintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentationCommunicate with guests regarding the needs of their groups including dietary needsAssist with menu planning and daily specialsEnsure food service areas are clean and organized.Adhere to the food safety program and kitchen cleaning/maintenance programsAssume some responsibility of all kitchen duties,



ordering and compliance.Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism.Supplier and cost managementMaintain appropriate OH&S; standards within the team & kitchenFlexible rotating roster!
Required Experience/Qualification:At least 3 years' commercial Cook experienceSound knowledge of traditional and current food trendsPrevious experience in menu development and costingAttention to detail, including adhering to food health and safety regulation.
