Lubke Engineering is seeking TWO skilled steel fabricators to join our team based in Picola, VIC.
As a fabricator, you will play a vital role in the manufacture, repair, and maintenance of a variety of steel structures.
This is a full time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from building sheds, machinery maintenance to 4x4 fabrication, to list a few.What you'll be doingReading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematicsOperating various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal components with high levels of precision and qualityPerforming maintenance and repair work on existing earthmoving equipment, cattleyards and other steel structuresTroubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the fabrication and installation processEnsuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety and quality standardsCollaborating closely with engineering and production teams to optimise workflow and identify potential process improvementsWhat we're looking forFormal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Welder, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experienceStrong technical skills in welding, metal fabrication,
