We're looking for a motivated and hands on Hire & Sales Assistant to join our Ashmore, Gold Coast branch.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, technology, warehouse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a mix of customer service, equipment hire, warehouse prep, and practical AV work.
Part time preferred, however casual and full time opportunities may also be available for suitable applicants.
Audio Visual Hire & Sales Assistant

What you'll be responsible for
Customer experience and sales
Assist customers in store, over the phone, and via email
Prepare hire and retail sales quotations and process customer orders
Support customers with practical AV product and system advice
Assist with retail point of sale transactions and general enquiries
Maintain a professional and customer focused experience
Hire, Warehouse & Logistics
Prepare hire equipment for customer collection and delivery
Check equipment in and out accurately




Assist with warehouse organisation, stock movement, and equipment storage
Load and unload AV equipment safely
Help maintain equipment presentation and readiness
Event & Technical Support
Assist with deliveries, setups, and pack-downs when required
Support basic testing and maintenance of audio visual equipment
Learn and work with professional audio, lighting, staging, and event technology
What we're looking for
Strong communication and customer service skills
A practical, hands on attitude and willingness to learn
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work safely in a warehouse and event environment
Interest or experience in audio, lighting, DJ, staging, music, events, or technology industries highly regarded
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A current manual driver licence required
Availability 2-5 days, with regular Saturday work as rostered
