With our Sydney restaurant launching in November ****, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join the team.Tasks & Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting of transactionsPayroll processing for full time and casual employeesPerform bank, creditors reconciliationsAssist in preparation of BAS / IAS lodgements, payroll taxCash flow monitoring and managementWeekly / fortnightly / monthly creditor/contractor paymentsMonitoring the supplier credit limitsRebates accountingLiaising with external suppliersLiaising closely with GM and head chef for smooth functioning of the day-to-day activitiesAssist with audit requirements as requiredGeneral clerical duties,



including responding to emails and answering phone callsOngoing bookkeeping and financial management activitiesSupporting ad-hoc reportingSkills & Experience:Must be an Australian citizen / valid PR to apply for this positionThis is an office-based role in Sydney; working from home is not availablePrevious hospitality, restaurant, or F&B; experience preferredMinimum 5 years' work experience in AustraliaRelevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and/or CommerceHigh attention to detailAdvanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with XeroExcellent communication and time management skillsPositive, proactive approach in a fast-paced workplace
