Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Canning Vale and are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee a small production team within their manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the production workers, ensuring the manufacturing process runs efficiently and safely while maintaining a positive team environment. You will be trained in the production process, including operating machinery and assisting with manual tasks & working in all aspects of the role as required.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing, production or workshop environment and have previous experience supervising a small team, leading production workers or working as a Senior Process Worker or Leading Hand. You will need to be confident giving direction, communicating with the team and helping ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

The role involves working with a roto-molder which produces large plastic water tanks. You will need to be comfortable with manual work and using basic hand and power tools such as a rattle gun.

Monday to Friday, 5am to 3:30pm – 48 hrs per week - Friday early knockoff!
$38–$40/hr

The candidates we are seeking will have the following:
Previous experience as a Team Leader, Leading Hand, Senior Process Worker or similar
Experience supervising or coordinating production workers
Experience in a workshop, manufacturing or production environment
Robust communication and leadership skills
Able to give direction and keep a small team organized
Comfortable working in a hands-on production workplace
Drivers license and reliable transport – able to start at 5am
Fit and healthy, able to perform manual tasks and use hand or power tools
Able to work in a high-temperature environment
Forklift license is essential
Able to pass a drug & alcohol screening
