We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Senior Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture and design of a major digital transformation initiative, delivering secure, accessible and scalable solutions across enterprise applications, integrations, data, identity and payment systems. The successful candidate will secure an initial 6-month contract with potential extension and receive rewarding hourly rates.

The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Leading end-to-end solution architecture and design across applications, integrations, data, security and cloud platforms
Developing target-state architectures, technical specifications, transition roadmaps and solution design artefacts
Designing secure integration patterns, APIs, identity and access management solutions and payment system integrations
Assessing technology options, conducting solution evaluations and supporting procurement and vendor selection activities
Providing technical leadership,



architecture governance and assurance throughout implementation and transition to operations

The Senior Solution Architect will have experience in the following:
Extensive experience delivering solution architecture for large-scale digital transformation programs, ideally within Federal or State Government
Solid expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, integration patterns and architecture governance
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, API management and identity services
Knowledge of Australian Government Architecture, Digital Experience Policy, security, privacy and accessibility requirements
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect or relevant architecture certifications highly regarded
