This is a varied role supporting the delivery of maintenance and repair services across our client sites, working alongside experienced tradespeople and facilities teams.
You'll assist with a range of general maintenance activities, while supporting preventative and corrective maintenance.

preventative and corrective maintenance activitiesCarry out maintenance tasks within your skills and experience, including general repairs, painting, tiling, basic plumbing and carpentryAssist with maintenance planning and the completion of service documentation and work recordsIdentify and report hazards, incidents and maintenance issuesWork safely and in accordance with OHS, environmental and quality requirementsWork with subcontractors, suppliers and other team members to support service deliveryBuild positive relationships with clients and provide professional, responsive serviceSupport facilities and maintenance teams with day-to-day operational requirementsYour Education, Experience & SkillsPrevious experience in a Trade Assistant, Handyperson, maintenance or similar hands-on roleExperience within a building, facilities management, construction or maintenance environment is highly regardedPractical experience across general repairs, painting, tiling, carpentry or basic plumbing is desirableGood practical problem-solving skills and a willingness to get involved across a variety of tasksAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamStrong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practicesGood communication and customer service skillsFlexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and maintenance requirementsFull working rights in Australia essentialAs part of our recruitment process, successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check.About BGIS Technical Trade ServicesBGIS Technical Trade Services delivers specialist trade, maintenance and technical services across a diverse range of client environments.
