Like all of us at Thiess, you're a passionate and energetic person, that appreciates responsibility, recognition and reward.In this role, you will:Work a 14/7 Roster, 7 Days and 7 Nights, 12 hours shiftsPerform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet including CAT 793, 16M, 994, Komatsu WA****, Liebherr T264 and other equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentationCompleting general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standardSource technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins,



OEM and computer bases systemsSetting and maintaining high housekeeping standardsCarrying out pre-start checksAbout youTrade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalentMinimum of 5 years post trade experience in mining or Heavy Earth Moving inductionExperience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of CAT, Komatsu and LiebherrExperience in vehicle air conditioning systems (desirable)Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all timesWhat Thiess can do for youPermanent full time positionsInterstate flights paid from your closest capital cityFull camp facilities provided – including a permanent room!
