Specialising in marine infrastructure and civil construction, they deliver a diverse range of projects across the marine setting, providing an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist construction business.The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate, commercially competitive cost estimates and tender submissions across marine infrastructure, wharf construction, piling, dredging and associated civil works.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager and project delivery teams, you will be responsible for reviewing project documentation, undertaking quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations,



assessing project risks and developing competitive tender pricing.This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with marine, civil or infrastructure construction experience to take ownership of the tendering process, contribute to commercial decision-making and help secure profitable projects from initial opportunity assessment through to tender submission and project handover.Qualifications and Requirements:Experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying or project engineeringPrevious experience within the marine, civil, infrastructure or construction industriesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, scopes of work and contract documentationExperience preparing detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and quantity take-offsStrong understanding of construction methodologies, project staging and risk assessmentExperience obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotationsCommercial awareness and the ability to assess project costs, profitability and contractual risksUnderstanding of Australian Standards and construction contractsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsAbility to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teamsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlinesA proactive approach to identifying opportunities and contributing to continuous improvementWillingness to attend site inspections, tender briefings and client meetings as requiredThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work.
