The Opportunity

An established national law firm is seeking an Insurance Litigation Lawyer to join its growing Brisbane practice, with a particular focus on insurance recoveries.

This is an excellent chance for a motivated lawyer looking to develop their expertise in insurance litigation while working with a broad range of insurer and commercial clients.

About the Role

You will be involved in:
Managing insurance recovery matters, including property damage and motor vehicle claims.
Conducting litigation from initial assessment through to resolution.
Drafting pleadings, correspondence, advice and settlement documentation.
Assessing liability, quantum and recovery prospects.




Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes.
Liaising with insurers, clients, experts and external stakeholders.
Working closely with experienced senior lawyers on complex matters.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:
Experience in insurance litigation, recoveries, property damage or commercial disputes.
Strong drafting, negotiation and file management skills.
The ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
A commercial approach to dispute resolution and client service.
A genuine interest in developing your career within insurance litigation.
