About the role
You will be one of the first points of contact for our patients and will play an important part in helping the clinic run smoothly. This is an ENTRY LEVEL position, and no previous reception or health care experience is required. You will be working alongside our existing receptionist and will receive full support and training as you learn the role.

Key responsibilities
Greeting patients and making them feel welcome
Answering telephone enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Processing payments
General reception and administrative duties
Preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient flow
Helping patients with simple clinic procedures as directed
Maintaining a clean, organised and skilled reception and clinical setting
Assisting the chiropractor and other team members as required About you
Friendly, confident and comfortable talking with people
Reliable and punctual




Well organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable using computers and learning recent software
Able to communicate clearly both in person and over the telephone
Calm and professional when the clinic becomes busy
Willing to learn and take responsibility
Genuinely interested in helping people
Previous reception, customer service or healthcare experience would be helpful, but it is not essential

The Adelaide Disc Center is a chiropractic clinic with a particular focus on helping people with persistent back pain, disc-related problems and sciatica. We are a small practice and place a strong emphasis on personal patient care rather than high-volume, impersonal treatment.
