Japanese-Speaking Junior-Senior Sales Representative

About the role
We are looking for a Junior to Senior Sales Representative to join our team.
For those starting out, this is a great entry-level prospect to gain wholesale, sales and administration experience.
For more experienced candidates, we also offer the chance to take on a broader role.
You will visit existing and new clients, bring product samples and promote the company's range of Japanese food products.Japanese language skills are highly regarded but not mandatory.
Speakers of Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean are also welcome to apply.
Sales experience is not necessary for the Junior role, while experienced sales professionals are equally encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customersPromote and sell the company's range of Japanese food productsVisit clients and retail outlets to identify selling opportunities and conduct sample presentationsProspect and generate new business in the food service and retail sectorsQuote prices and credit terms, record orders and arrange deliveriesProcess orders,



manage client accounts and ensure timely deliveriesDeliver goods to clients when needed and support on-site sales activities (light weight)Meet sales targets and provide regular, accurate reports to the Sales ManagerBuild and maintain knowledge of the company's and competitors' products, market activity and market conditionsAttend trade shows, exhibitions and client meetings as requiredPerform other sales and customer service duties as assigned
About you
Any work experience in a company (Australian or overseas)A valid QLD driver's licenceJapanese language preferred or Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean language skillsSales experience is not necessaryPermanent residents and citizens are ideal, but candidates with at least 2 years of unrestricted work rights, such as the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485), are welcome to apply
