Role Description The Remedial Massage Therapist will provide client-focused remedial massage treatments in office at the Sydney, NSW clinic as part of a contract engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough client consultations, assessing musculoskeletal issues, and delivering tailored treatments using appropriate remedial techniques. The role involves maintaining accurate treatment notes, managing appointment schedules, and collaborating with other health professionals as needed to support holistic client care. The therapist will also educate clients on self-care, stretching,



and injury prevention, while upholding clinic hygiene, safety standards, and professional ethics.

Qualifications
Relevant remedial massage qualification (e.g., Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent) and eligibility for professional association membership.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal assessment, with the ability to develop treatment plans based on client needs.
Strong client communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, explain treatment approaches clearly, and work with diverse clients.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical records, manage time effectively, and work independently within a professional practice setting.
Commitment to maintaining hygiene and infection control standards, and adherence to ethical and confidentiality requirements.
Current first aid certification and professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in a clinical, sports, or wellness setting is beneficial, as is familiarity with complementary therapies or multidisciplinary healthcare environments.
