HIC Services is looking for Trades Assistants to join our Mudgee team.

If you come from an automotive or general painting background and want to move into industrial coatings, we’d like to hear from you too.

What you’ll be doing You’ll work across our Mudgee workshop and local mine sites, carrying out:

Providing support to all Trades and experienced employees, doing:

Surface preparation.





Application of protective coatings and wear-resistant finishes.

Work on mining and heavy industrial equipment.

Other workshop and site duties as needed—we all pitch in.

Experience in

CHPPs or wash plants

will be well regarded, but it isn’t essential.

What we’re looking for

Pride in your preparation, application and finished work.

A strong commitment to safety and following procedures.

Reliable attendance, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

The ability to work well with others and contribute wherever needed.

Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP and LR/MR licences are practical.

Training and licence support can be arranged to suit the role.
